Fellows and masters in the American College of Critical Care Medicine are recognized for their significant contributions to critical care.
Fellows of the American College of Critical Care Medicine (FCCM) are practitioners, researchers, administrators, and educators who have made outstanding contributions to the collaborative field of critical care.
Fellowship applications will be accepted from December 7, 2022, through March 15, 2023. The Credentials Committee will review each completed application with the intent that each qualified applicant will be accepted into the College; other applicants receive appropriate feedback, so they may reapply in the future.
To be considered a fellow in the ACCM and use the designation FCCM, you are required to participate in the convocation ceremony within three years of your acceptance notification. The convocation fee is $385. The fee includes administrative costs, robe rental, and certificate. If you are not inducted within three years, you will be required to submit a new application for future ACCM Fellowship. The Credentials Committee reviews each completed application with the intent that each qualified applicant is accepted to the College; other applicants receive appropriate feedback so that they may reapply in the future. Fellows of Critical Care Medicine (FCCMs) in good standing may nominate other FCCMs to be Masters of Critical Care Medicine (MCCMs). The nomination deadline is August 1, 2023. Conferral will be considered by the ACCM Awards Committee at the following year's convocation. Learn more about eligibility requirements and criteria.
