ACCMBoard of Regents

The ACCM Board of Regents oversees the College’s affairs, including approving fellowship and award applications, and oversees the development of clinical practice guidelines and consensus statements for SCCM. The Board of Regents comprises 10 elected fellows of ACCM.

Awards Committee
The Awards Committee evaluates nominations for the Distinguished Investigator Award and submits the top three nominees to the Board of Regents. The committee also reviews applications for Masters of Critical Care Medicine and nominations for the Barry Shapiro Memorial Award.

Credentials Committee
The Credentials Committee reviews and analyzes applications for fellowship in ACCM. The committee carefully assesses each application and recommends a course of action for each applicant. These recommendations are then submitted to the Board of Regents for final review and approval.

Fellowship Services Committee
The Fellowship Services Committee plans and implements quarterly communications with the fellowship and other communication-related functions including suggesting topics for the annual ACCM Town Hall session at Congress.
