Free Critical Care Training

Funding is available for SCCM's critical care training courses.

The Society of Critical Care Medicine (SCCM) has funding available to provide financial support for all types of critical care training for organizations in developing or impoverished nations and in underserved areas of the United States. Qualified applicants may receive SCCM funding support to pay for any training-related expenses including course access for learners, eBooks, and textbooks if requested (textbooks include associated shipping costs).

Applications must be received at least 90 days before the course starts.

Free Fundamentals Training 

With the support of Edwards Lifesciences Foundation, SCCM now has funding available to bring FREE Fundamentals training to clinicians in developing, impoverished, and resource-limited areas. The goal of providing this training is to help hospitals to prepare clinicians to manage critically ill patients, including those recovering from heart valve disease or structural heart diseases. Up to 27 training programs will be funded through October 15, 2023. Eligible sites should apply today for this opportunity.
