Michael S. Weinstein, MD, FACS, FCCM, speaks with Sean Bagshaw, MD, MSc, about the article, “Long-Term Association Between Frailty and Health-Related Quality of Life Among Survivors of Critical Illness: A Prospective Multicenter Cohort Study*,” published in Critical Care Medicine. Dr. Bagshaw works as an Associate Professor of Critical Care Medicine at the University of Alberta. He is also Canada Research Chair in Critical Care Nephrology and a Clinical Investigator for Alberta Innovates – Health Solutions in Alberta, Canada. In this article, Dr. Bagshaw and coauthors examine the association between frailty and long-term health-related quality of life among survivors of critical illness.
