To help us determine the potential common interest among your peers and based on the datasets that will be used in this Datathon, please share up to 3 research question/topic would you be interested in studying. Please remember that the sub-themes are Health Equity and Diversity, Treatment Optimization, and Patient Outcomes and Risk Stratification. By submitting these questions, I agree that I have not previously conducted research using CURE ID, MIMIC-III, MIMIC-IV, eICU, and/or eICU II for the same question and/or outcomes. By checking, if I am selected as a participant, I agree to participate as a data scientist in the Society of Critical Care Medicine’s Discovery Data Science Datathon  July 13 and 14, 2024 at SCCM Headquarters at 500 Midway Drive.  I agree to apply for access, including completing CITI training, to the CURE ID, MIMIC and eICU databases and to spend time prior to the datathon learning about the CURE ID and Physionet (MIMIC and eICU) databases and their structure and will use the credentials provided to do so. I will submit proof of this access within two weeks of acceptance into the datathon.

Consent for use of Photographic and Video Images. By applying to participate in this event, I hereby acknowledge and agree that the Society of Critical Care Medicine (“SCCM”) or its agents may take photographs and/or video of me during the event and may use those photographs and recordings for SCCM’s purposes, including but not limited to news, publicity and fundraising purposes, without further compensation to me.
