Shein, MD, about the article, “Effectiveness of Pharmacological Therapies for Intracranial Hypertension in Children With Severe Traumatic Brain Injury—Results From an Automated Data Collection System Time-Synched to Drug Administration,” published in the March 2016 issue of Pediatric Critical Care Medicine. Dr. Shein is an Assistant Professor of Pediatric Critical Care Medicine at Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio. In this article, Dr. Shein and coauthors discuss effects of medications commonly used to treat intracranial hypertension in children with traumatic brain injury.
