SCCM is updating its SCCM Connect Community. Access to SCCM Connect may be limited until April 23.
The Society of Critical Care Medicine’s (SCCM) annual Critical Care Congress in 2018. Accelerate Diagnostics, Inc. wanted to engage attendees with a non-continuing medical education educational symposium. As a company new to Congress, Accelerate was not sure whether attendees would be curious enough about a diagnostics company to fill the room at its symposium, so the Accelerate team brainstormed ideas for how to boost registration. Accelerate increased participation by offering a donation to SCCM’s general fund for anyone who registered for the symposium before a particular date; this was advertised through a targeted mailer, social media, and the company’s website.
The response to this campaign was fantastic— Accelerate exceeded its target symposium attendance and donated the unrestricted amount to the Society.
“We’re proud to support the Society of Critical Care Medicine as it continues to do more to promote excellence and greater consistency in the care of those afflicted with sepsis,” said Andrew Chasteen, communications director for Accelerate Diagnostics, Inc.
