The Industry & Technology Section envisions a network of critical care business and medicine representatives working to educate each other in their respective disciplines and to provide a platform for technology creation and appreciation. The Industry & Technology Section represents clinical industry and academic professionals and is committed to the advancements of critical care medicine by fostering collaboration to facilitate clinical trials, and outcome studies, communication and education.

Section Five Year Goals

  • Recognition of the I&T Section as the common meeting ground for business and medical professionals who are members of SCCM.
  • Create opportunities for continuing education and teaching partnerships between business and medical SCCM members.
  • Create inventor and technology recognition platforms for those who have made, and are making contributions to critical care.
  • Create an SCCM technology Web link through the I&T page which allows corporate members to feature new products, clinical investigation opportunities, key symposia featuring hands-on workshops.
