In recent years, nonprofit organizations have become an increasing focus of those interested in nonprofit accountability and transparency, including policy makers, the media, and the public.  Legislative reforms have been proposed and nonprofit associations are calling on their members to review and strengthen nonprofit governance practices.  SCCM has instituted many policies and procedures to insure effective and transparent governance.  It is important for our elected leaders and volunteers to be familiar with these.  Further, included in this area are documents on SCCM's organizational structure, strategic plan and other key documements.
