The SCCM Oregon Chapter is a multiprofessional organization composed of critical care practitioners, whose purpose is to foster collaboration amongst caregivers at a state level for the enhancement of patient care. Members of the chapter include physicians, nurses, pharmacists, respiratory therapists, physician assistants and other healthcare professionals.

The Oregon Chapter is organized and operates exclusively for educational, scientific and charitable purposes to improve care for patients with life-threatening illnesses and injuries, by promoting the development of optimum facilities and training for this purpose and to engage in training, facility development and ethical awareness incidental to the foregoing purposes. The Oregon Chapter provides its members with educational opportunities, professional resources and a chance for networking with other critical care professionals from across the state.  In association with the Greater Portland Chapter of the AACN, the OSCCM, hosts an annual Scientific Meeting each November, which is now the largest meeting of its kind in the Northwest.  Quarterly Chapter Meetings are held to plan for this event as well as planning for other educational events to foster improvements in the care of critically ill patients and build professional relationships among their caregivers.

If you would like to become a member of the Oregon Chapter, please fill out the membership application. If you are interested in becoming involved in one of the many chapter activities, please contact:
