This webcast was held on Tuesday, November 15, 2011

Program Overview
The formulation of ICU workforce teams to meet the needs of acute and critically ill patients requires a focus on maximizing effectiveness and minimizing costs in the ICU. Integrating Nurse Practitioners (NPs), Physician Assistants (PAs), and hospitalists to augment intensivist-led teams in the ICU has evolved as an important strategy to address both the increased demand for critical care-qualified providers and the relative shortage of physician intensivist. This fifth webcast in a series addressing the ICU workforce will focus on addressing administrative considerations including credentialing and financial considerations.

Program Format
Webcast with PowerPoint discussions followed by participant question-and-answer session.
