Target Audience
This continuing education activity is intended to meet the needs of all intensivists, anesthesiologists, cardiologists, emergency physicians, physician assistants, advanced practice nurses, and all other providers who care for patients in any setting where critical care is provided.

Learning Objectives
1. Explain and demonstrate advanced hemodynamic measurements
2. Explain and demonstrate advanced evaluation of left ventricular and right ventricular systolic function
3. Describe qualitative assessment of valvular pathology
4. Discuss the limitations of echocardiography in the ICU setting

Type of Activity
Course content will focus on applying knowledge and practicing advanced skills and techniques of ultrasound in the ICU.

Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians. Designation Statement: The
Society of Critical Care Medicine designates this live educational activity for a maximum of 7.75 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Nurses – This activity has been approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing (provider #8181) for up to 7.75 contact hours.

Pharmacists – The Society of Critical Care Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE) as a provider of continuing education. This conference will provide up to 7.75 contact hours of continuing
education credit (XXXXXXXXX). Pharmacists must complete an online form to verify session attendance.
Upon submitting the online form, a statement of credit can be downloaded.
