Overview:
Medicine is dynamic. One rapidly changing area of medicine is the use of hypothermia in the treatment of the critically ill adult and child in the ICU. If you are a novice to implementing hypothermia or just want to understand the principles of when and how to use this treatment, join SCCM in Pasadena, California on April 22-23, 2010. This conference focuses on the clinical aspects of implementing, performing and developing hypothermia protocols for your ICU patients. Be prepared for a hands-on workshop experience that includes simulations, case studies, protocol writing, skill stations, debates, audience participation and discussion panels.
