This will ensure that your abstract is available onsite at SCCM’s Critical Care Congress for attendees to access at designated viewing kiosks, mobile views throughout the convention center as well as online after SCCM’s 41st Congress. It is important to know you may only upload your presentation one time. Please follow the instructions below to upload your poster/oral presentation.

Step 1: Obtain your email sent from congress@sccm.org stating your login information to Attendee Interactive’s site.  Login here beginning November 21, 2011 to create your enhanced poster.

Step 2: Once logged in to the electronic poster site, you will be asked to upload both a PowerPoint file of your poster and an Adobe PDF of the poster.  This version should be more detailed than your original abstract submission and should provide a summary of your abstract research beyond the 2,200 characters.   BOTH formats are needed to be uploaded in order to provide various mobile views within the poster hall and throughout the meeting.

SCREENSHOTS AND FAQ's for ePOSTER UPLOAD

Step 3: You have until January 23rd to upload or make any changes to your files.  After that date, the latest electronic files will be sent for the online viewing.

Step 4:
Poster Presenters:
You must also provide a physical poster for the abstract poster session.  The maximum size of each poster is 4ft (48 inches/122 cm) high by 8ft (96 inches/244 cm) wide. You may not exceed this height/width of the poster board. Type size should be at least 30 point or larger. Graphs and photos also need to be large enough to
be seen clearly at six (6) feet. Illustrations should be simple and eye-catching. Please convert tables to graphic displays:
Pie graphs can be used to show parts of a whole, Line graphs can be used to show trends or changing relationships Bar graphs can be used to show volumes.

Poster should be carried with the presenter to display in the poster hall or make arrangements to ship directly to the presenter’s place of lodging at the meeting.  SCCM is not responsible for posting or shipping of poster board materials.

Oral Presenters:
The SCCM will provide the equipment necessary to display your PowerPoint presentation.  Failure to adhere to the audio/visual policy may result in the on-site delay of your session or the inability for your presentation to be shown.
All speakers are required to check into the Speaker Ready room to submit their presentation prior to giving their talk. Should a speaker wish to have a quicker check-in process they may upload their presentation via the meeting website at www.ets-av.com/sccm/readyroom between January 2-23, 2012.

Please arrive at least 15 minutes early in order to meet with your session moderator(s) to discuss introductions.  You will be allotted approximately 15 minutes for your presentation.  The purpose of this format is to allow formal, in-depth presentation of your work with critical evaluation from interested colleagues.  It is expected that you will also participate in a reciprocal fashion when your investigative colleagues present their work.  Please remain in the room and be available to the moderators and the audience from the beginning until the end of the session.
