Chart the course for the future of critical care medicine at the Society of Critical Care Medicine's (SCCM) 40th Critical Care Congress, a milestone to celebrate. In the sunny setting of San Diego, California, USA, nearly 6,000 critical care professionals will come together for one common goal: to provide the highest quality care for all critically ill and injured patients through the use of knowledge, technology and compassion.
The 2011 Congress marks the 40th anniversary of the Society’s annual meeting. The Society will celebrate its 40th anniversary aboard the USS Midway Museum on Saturday, January 15, 2011. To highlight this special occasion, all full registrants will receive a commemorative volume of turning points within the profession from the last 40 years. The book, The History of SCCM, is based on the research of archived material and interviews from key leaders in the field of critical care. Past SCCM presidents and founders of the modern critical care movement will be available to recount the early development of critical care and to sign your copy of the anniversary publication. All registered Congress attendees and guests are welcome to attend.
